With the invention of Bitcoin blockchain technology became available for new applications This led the way to new technologies like NFT Web3 and Metaverse However due to misinformation and lack of knowledge these new technologies come with many misconceptions For instance cryptocurrencies do NOT use encryption NFTs are NOT stored in the blockchain many Web3 applications are NOT decentralized and the Metaverse do NOT exist yet In this talk I will briefly explain these relatively new technologies main misconceptions and possible challenges nft web3 metaverse blockchain cryptocurrency
